Electronical Premieres

We should have confimation of specific dates and venues tomorrow but it looks as if the Odyssey Electronial UK premieres will be happening over this coming Bank Holiday weekend. At the time of writing it looks as if the Scottish premiere will be at Unit 23 on Monday, the Northern premiere is being put together by Streetphire, Mode BMX in Derby are doing the Midlands premiere and we (IMG) will be hosting the Southern premiere in the brimming metropolis of Pagham. The DVD will be in shops next week.

Pantera 3

Fly bikes has some pictures of the new Pantera 3 frame up of their website. Fly's flat white and simple graphics are doing it for us.

Like a streak of lightening wizzing from a bow.....

Odyssey keeps the good stuff flowing......

This is the V3 Elementary stem in high-polish. It looks like a part off of some buff 1950's American car. We like that stuff.

The slim-by-four is the natural successor to the 2byfour and (more recently) the 1byfour brake pads. Thankfully those super high walled rims of the late 90's have all but disappeared and these fit rims like Hazard Light just perfect.

Aaron Ross's signature Space bars. 8.125" rise, 12 degrees back sweep, 2 degree upsweep, 1lbs 12.5oz.

Vinnie Sammon bars. 8" rise, 26.5" wide and a little like Triumphs (only with narrow 'box section'). Billy bars friendly and almost as street as a grotty turndown.

This is the LHD version of the V3 cassette hub. A bit prettier than it's predessesor and equally as functional.

New Proper Website

The new Proper website is finally up. There's more content waiting to upload - check that out here.

Ian Schwartz has a pretty cool bike check up on the Sunday site.

New Stuff

It's been all hands to the pumps at IMG this week with big shipments from Odyssey and Fly. I don't know where to start with all the new stuff.....actually start by checking the Odyssey blidget on the this page (or here). We have those Senior 2 seats in, white or black Lumberjack bars, those Slimbyfour brake pads, and the Klyte Frequency G tyres (that Mike Taylor and Jay Forde are running). We also got the Aaron Ross 'Space' bars in black or white, new flatland forks, V3 Elementary stems, V3 cassette hubs and wheels in all combos, m0re A Ross grips, white Trail Mix pedals, all the Odyssey bottom brackets.......The Campillo frames came out awesome - you gotta see these, as did the Luna frame and we finally have re-stocks of the elusive Tierra back in. We have Fly rims back and the new sprocket with integrated washer, the new low rise Fly headset cups, and more Fino seats. Phewww - that's just the start. Did I mention the Sunday! Vinnie (Salmon) bars and G-Sport Plegs!!!

I'll try to get some photos up as soon we've cleared the backlog of orders and the tyres stacked up in the photo booth!!!

Jason Jones

If you are Jason Jones (and you won Jim Bauer's bike in an auction to help Jimmy Levan with his medical bills) can you please give us a bell. Your new bike is just along the South coast and waiting for a new home.

Clear pastic pedals are coming soon but Jason has them right now.

Plegs and Director forks just arrived in this country. Not in this wild pink and green camo though!

Simple wheel slammers

We got the Simple order in today. These "wheel slammers" really caught my eye as a better alternative to the traditional chain tensioner.

Simply measure the space between your axle and the front of your drop out and fill it with one of these bad boys that slot right into the drop out (see below) .

The picture above has the "wheel slammers" and also the "peg adaptor" which is a washer with a large centre hole that fits over the "wheel slammer" for anyone that wants to run pegs. Dialled.

These come in the following sizes;

1.5 and 2.0mm (for those who wheels are close to being slammed in the dropout)
2.5 and 3.0mm
3.5 and 4.0mm
4.5 and 5.0mm
5.5 and 6.0mm
6.5 and 7.0mm
7.5 and 8.0mm (for those who like their back wheel close to the back of the dropout)

It's Simple yeah!

We have a new shipment of Simple goodies coming in tomorrow. We'll be getting Enigma and Debut frames, Front Row seat (including ti), wheel slammers, 8" Jetset bars, Stockholm and Copenhagen, Monarchy forks, System stems and these goodies;

This is the Simple linear cable - Black, white and grey on these puppies.

This is the simple seat clamp in matching colourways.

This neat little item is the hubguard for the Simple/Eject front hub. It screws on in place of the cone nuts. Black, white, silver and grey.

This is the Simple/Eject front hub. Same colours. These flew out last time. Expect the same again.

Aaron Ross on Sunday!

That flouresent Sunday! wave frame belongs to Aaron Ross. Aaron has left FBM and is working on signature frame to go with his grips and forthcoming 'Space' bars. Click here for the scoop from Aaron himself.

Wazza Represent

Warrington's Mike 'Jersey' Taylor sent us this photo of his new UK green Sunday! wave frame. Mike is rocking white Wombolt cranks, Twisted pc pedals, the Frequency G kevlar tyre in the rear and a Path Plyte up front, a black demin Veteran seat, a Gland III and ribcage rims, a V2 Elementary stem, Jpeg lighters and pretty much everything else from Odyssey and G-Sport.

Freshness

This is Fly's Ruben pedal in the new dark red colourway.

Ruben's signature grips come in 135mm and 155mm lengths and this new red colour as well as all the old favourites.

These are Odyssey's deceptively soft Aaron Ross grips aboard Carlo's bike.

Odyssey make aftermarket spokes in silver and black and all your favourite lengths. We have them all in stock - like a field of sherbert dib dabs.

The Odyssey Midway rims comes in black and chrome, 48h or 36h. It weighs 100g more than a Hazard Light because of thicker sidewalls and spoke holes (ideal for those of you that like to case regularly or anyone else that is pretty tough on rims).

The M7 is our top of the range complete front wheel. That's an Odyssey 7Ka (7000 series alloy) rim laced to a G-Sport Marmoset hub. It doesn't get any better than this in the world of complete front wheels.

Dylan Smith is a smart kid. These are his signature bars from Fly Bikes. They come in flat black and sangria (pictured), they're 8" rise and 26.5" wide. Perfect.

The folding Ruben tyres have arrived and they're awesome. Lighter than the immensly popular O.G. version and also available in 1.90, 2.0, (for the rear) and 2.15" and 2.25" (for the front). Get on it!!!

We got these flat raw Fly cranks and I immediately nabbed a set. The first version had no wrap around on the pedal boss or the spindle boss (a few people had problems with these), this version has adressed the issues with the first batch by adding a notable wrap around in both areas (we've had no warranty issues with these so far).

Last known Tierra

We get a ton of enquiries about Fly Tierra frames every day. Through some quirk of fate Gav at Mode still has a 20.6" in Sky Blue (with matching forks no less). This colourway is deleted now, so give gave him a call on 01332 200003 if you're one of the many searching for this frame.

2008 and all that

This is the new Aaron Ross grip from Odyssey and it's in stock.
"The Aaron grip is our softest grip offering, and super comfy. Think of those key pads as rubber blocks of cushion. In regards to the flanges, Aaron doesn't like them, and you have the option of cutting them off if you don't like them either. Black only, but knowing us, there will probably be some color options in the future".

There was a lot of awesome stuff in the latest delivery.  We are psyched on the Kevlar Frequency G tyres.  At 1.75" I guess these are going to appeal to flatlanders, however, at 0.86 lbs I can see plenty of people trying them on the rear wheel.

We also got the 2.25" Plyte Aitken tyre, which would look particularly suave sat on top any of the new Odyssey wheel sets;

Cassette rear wheel (chrome Hazard Light rim laced to a black V3 cassette hub)
Vandero II front wheel (black Hazard Light rim laced to black Vandero II hub)
M7 front wheel (black 7KA rim laced to G-Sport Marmoset hub)

We're also stocked with most of the other hot lines (Lumberjack bars, Trail mix pedals (sealed and looseball), Par ends, Midway rims, Ribcage rims, race forks, Aitken seats, after market spokes, LHD and RHD Wombolts etc etc)).

Our Fly order is due on Monday and includes Dylan Smith's Luna bars, the folding Ruben tyres (see below) and raw V2 cranks amongst other treats.  Rims, frame, and forks will follow shortly.

More new goodies

Yeah boy. The Ilegal cranks are looking suave in raw.

This is the sealed Trail Mix pedal in high polish.

We got some more 8.5" Proclaimer bars back in stock and they rule.

This is Gav's TTL built up.

Proper's final shipment for 2007 is docked and we expect it to cleared for Monday. This includes more TTL frames, new forks, wheel sets, rims, shim system cassette hubs, big bars and all sort of other goodies.

We have a small Odyssey sea-freight order also coming in next week. This includes sealed trail mix pedals, White Sunday! morning forks, race forks and Hazard Lite rims in some crazy colours and Lumberjack pad sets.

New Fly Sprocket
