Shipping Details

Proper's final shipment for 2007 is docked and we expect it to cleared for Monday. This includes more TTL frames, new forks, wheel sets, rims, shim system cassette hubs, big bars and all sort of other goodies.

We have a small Odyssey sea-freight order also coming in next week. This includes sealed trail mix pedals, White Sunday! morning forks, race forks and Hazard Lite rims in some crazy colours and Lumberjack pad sets.

We are still waiting for final confirmation of when the next Fly shipment will be here.

New Fly Sprocket

This is the new sprocket from Fly Bikes. Check their website for more details. Unfortunately the new Luna and Campillo frames (and re-stocks of the Tierra) have bene delayed until after Christmas. Fly have some cool stuff in the works for 2008 including front hubs.

Miguel is Ilegal

Spain's Miguel Cuesta is the latest recruit for Portugal's Ilegal Bikes. We have more Ilegal cranks arriving on Monday. Two birds with with one stone yeah?!!

Who's bike........

Gav's bike. We put a bike check with Gavin Shortall on the Proper website last week. Since then he's blown most of his wages on new parts from IMG - check 'em out.
This is the 2007 Proper Proclaimer frame in raw.

This is the Simple System steam with an Odyssey top cap and Lumberjack bars.

This is a prototype 28t 2008 Proper sprocket.

These are the limited 'blood splat' Odyssey Trail Mix pedals.

This is a prototype Proper hub with the shim system and allen bolts. We're still testing these to see if they will make production in 2008.

These are the Limited Edition Copper Race Forks from Odyssey and a 2007 Proper front hub and rim.

Part with your hard earned....

cash. These flouresant yellow cranks are the most road safe 3-piece chromoly cranks. Tufty approved yeah!!
Mike Aitken's seat comes in this limited 'black denim' colourway. Jimmy Levan isn't well - buy his limited maroon grips and stay away from skateboards. Beringer grips are good and so is blue - what a combination!!!

G Sport stuff is built to last....this is the Marmoset and you want it.

The classic Jim Cielencki pedal. Limited bronze. Get some!

More Odyssey product in stock

What better way to say "I love you" this Christmas than with these Odyssey rims strips in Yellow and White.

Par Ends are Odyssey's plastic bar ends. They come in jar's of twelve for some 'point of sale' bonus points.

These are the Copper Civillian bars (see the last post for more on the Sunday! bars). Civillian bars are a classic and we've got them in this limited colourway.

The B.E.T.A bag was designed by Adam Banton, comes with a ton of cool little features, and would be the sort of thing we'd like to get Christmas.

These Adam Banton grips come in limited edition Lava (shown here) and Red Marble as well as black. They look pretty rad in the flesh.

Jim Cielencki's legendary pedals went on a diet and these are the result - the Trail Mix pedal (seen here in Blood Splatter, High Polish, and Gold).

Sunday Triumph bars

These are the Sunday? Triumph bars. 8" rise, 28" wide, 12 degree backsweep, 1 degree upsweep. Also available in mint green, british racing green, and orange. Background trivia - that's the pool section of IMG's ramp set up in picture one and the infamous King's Beach Hotel in picture two. Awesome!

The shim system

This is the revised version of the Proper Magnalite hub. White is banging. This is what the driver looks like now it's got a shim in place of the bearing. In stock 01/12.

Proper products are in the building

The finished TTL frames finally arrived and should be in the shops tomorrow. This is the lugless version in 'blood' red. Below is the black version, with lugs tabs, and cable guides.

These weigh a fraction under 5lbs and vary slightly depending on top tube length and brake options.
This is Proper's new double butted spokes in purple, white, and black. All the usual lengths.
The popular 'firewire' cable now also comes in purple.
This is the first batch of cassette hubs with a ceramic shim in place of the usual tiny driver bearings. No more blown driver bearings!!

The Proclaimer fork is finally perfect. Small dropouts (that just fit pegs) but thicker than the first batch. The bottom of the steerer tube has now been rounded out for a more conventional and equally functional look.

Fly Cranks

Our friend Vinny came by this afternoon to pick up some Fly cranks. We spent a while looking at the differences between the old versions and the new ones - the new ones have a wrap around plate over the pedal boss and the spindle boss and as a result appear notably stronger. We've been selling this version for quite some time now but this reminded me to put something right here to illustrate the improvement. Thankfully David Quesada beat me to it, so that's one less job on Monday!
