Sunday Bonus

Boom. The Aaron Ross signature Funday Pro in Waltermelon is about to drop. It's based around (and in some ways more dialled than) Aaron's personal bike. The details are nuts....watermelon PC pedals with pink end caps. Check here for all the details.

Fraser Peek's Antipodean Bike

Fraser is currently in Australia checking out what's on offer down under. He's off to Salt Lake City in a few days and then New Zealand. Alright for some. Fraser's no nonsense bike is a Barcode with mainly all Odyssey parts; Aitken seat, Burlington, Twombolts, Trailmix, Bluebird, SLS cable, Race forks, Lumerjacks etc etc.

Texas Toast x Aitken

I guess some people underestimated the determination of Mike Aitken. So good to see.

Check out the Lifer BMX store in Tavistock Devon. Steve Wilson doing things right in the land of the Ginster's pasty.

"Tony Hawks"

We supplied a bunch of bikes to Nike 6.0 for use at The Pool. Here's an interview in which you can gather that the Mirraco's are light and have good brakes....and also that Tony Hawks is the best rider. For more on the No7 click here.

More from The Pool

More from the pool........Wickham Will is a bit of a dark horse. Also a stand up guy. Thanks man.

Man down

Ben was having a pretty good birthday at The Pool yesterday until this happened. Broken cheek bone, broken/lacerated nose, and two black eyes later he was in A&E trying to get his nose back to somewhere like normal.

Please bear with regarding any warranty queries and wheel builds.

Thanks to everyone who showed up. It was a treat to meet some new people and catch up with some old friends.

The Pool

It was good to see so many friends at the weekend. I'm pretty sure you would have struggled to have a bad time. Above you'll find Harry Main with a flair drop on off the Elvis ramp.

Here's Ruben's team after winning the best line. Tom Dugan, Kevin Kalkoff, and Sergio were never likely to win but they were the most fun to watch with plenty of bike control, smoothness, and an awesome train.

Kyle Baldock Bike Check

Mirraco's Kyle Baldock has this Vital bike check up today. I'm pretty sure Kyle is in Essex about now for Nike's Pool event. It seems like a lot of shops have a crew headed to see that even. Here's who you can look to see representing IMG brands;

Tom Dugan, Chase Hawk, and Sean Sexton (Odyssey)
Ruben, Kevin Kalkoff, KP, and Sergio (Fly Bikes)
Van Homan and Randy Brown (GSport)
Kyle Baldock (Mirraco)
Joris Coulomb (Proper)

Power gloves

It's amazing what you learn trying to write vaguely amusing captions....get this Turbo B out of Snap "I've got the power" is still kicking about. You can book him for your function right here. Anyway, these full-length gloves feature gel palm inserts with a silicon palm grip. The fingertips are re-enforced to help make them last.

You can get them in Brown/Red, Blue/Orange and Black/Yellow. Available in extra small, small, medium, large and extra large.

Aitken Hell Bent Gloves

Boom shack-a-lack. These Aiken fingerless gloves are now in the UK. Mike wanted a fingerless style glove that would allow him to have some contact with his brake lever, give him some good grip and help him look even more bad-ass while driving his car.

Hellbent gloves feature a padded palm, perforated top and Mike’s signature “diamond” graphic on the strap. Available now in Black or Brown in medium, large, and extra large.

New Fly frames

We just received a new shipment of Fly Bikes frames (and parts) in new colourways and featuring the EBS brake system (learn more about that below). The frames are also a little lighter for 2011.

Here is more on the EBS system.

Here's KP ripping a skatepark on his new Tierra.

Here's Stephan Lantschner (in a split edit with Simone Barraco) putting his Montana through it's paces (that's the other new colourway).

Tom Blyth Interview

Tom Blyth has an interesting interview up on BMX Union here.
