We have so many amazing new products dropping right now that we're narrowing it down to Top 20 for the timebeing. More to follow. 2010 pressure.
I was going to say that Adam Banton's grips have been updated but you can still buy those bad boys if you like thick grips with guitars on. There Adam Banton II's are a whole new deal though. Much thinner, longer, with Par Ends as standard, and a generally amazing feel.
There's nothing too much new about Fly Ruben tyres, however, these 2.25" folding Ligera Ruben's have been hard to get ahold of for a while now. All Fly tyres are back in stock. A genuine classic.
Another 'must have' classic and another batch of Limited Edition colours. This time it's Seafoam, Rootbeer, and Ocean Blue. The original PC pedal. Odyssey.
Oh damn. We have a new challenger to the king of PC pedals and it's called the Ruben Graphite. Made from different compound to the traditional Polycarbonate, clealy not from a Taiwanese catlogue, and in five colours right away. Less than 25 quid a pair for these, so you know they're going to (ahem) fly.
Fly have a huge range of new or improved frames dropping this month. This is the Kevin Kalkoff signature Lago in Olive Green (obviously) or Flat Black. Note the integrated drop outs, tapered tubes all over, SBS brake system, 13.75 chainstays and "scooter free" 8.75" standover.
- Top tubes: 20.6” and 21"
- Headtube: 75º / Seat tube: 71º
- BB Height 11.75"
- Spanish BB / Integrated headtube
- Removable gyro tabs / Cable guides / Seatstay brakemounts / Chain tensioners
- Weight: 4.97 lb
This Burnished Copper is the latest colourway for Proper's evergreen TTL frame. As usual there are some subtle refinements. This time there is a shaved seat tube and an improved headtube/downtube junction. Sizes this time are 20.0" and 20.6" (with 13.58" chainstays) or 21.0" and 21.2" (with 13.9" chainstays).
This is the Burlington. Odyssey's updated version of the classic Vermont (which are still available for now) sprocket. These are the colours - take your pick of sizes unless you're one of those strict trail bosses that refuses to move in to the 21st century and move below a 36t.
Speaking of updated sprockets. This new Fly sprocket has nod in the direction of the old Suelo sprockets that had some some kind of cult following. 25t or 28t in red, purple (you knew that), high polish, flat white, and flat black.
Odyssey Chase Hawk grips hit the ground running and already have a loyal following in our more discerning BMX specialist stores. Now available in Limited Edition gum and chocolate brown.
Odyssey's latest venture into the rim market is lighter and less expensive than any previous Odyssey rim. It's a pinned rim, however, it's double pinned and tested favourably enough to get Odyssey's (George French's) seal of approval. Also available with a Vandero II (as a complete front wheel) or a V3 Cassette (as a complete rear wheel).
