Bonus Trivia:
This time last year I was in BCN with some of the Proper team when we rode past a pretty cool looking roller coaster rail. Ricky Adam mentioned he'd shot a photo of Jarrod Allen hopping out of one of those a few weeks prior.
A few minutes later we were back at the hostel and 'low and behold' in Proper's Myspace was a message from a Jared Allen. I told him of the remarkable co-incidence and arranged to send him a box parts....only later to find out this Jared Allen was Jared Allen Swafford and not the guy Ricky had shot hopping out of a roller coaster rail. Jared Swafford is another shredder with a similar name based in Austin, Texas who happened to share a flat with Joe Cox favourite Danny Hickerson.
As time wore on Jared got hooked up with Season Bikes and Proper's Mike Mastroni and Alex Platt came to England and slept on my sofas with Shane Rieder and Tonash. We had no idea that Alex (from Massachusetts) and Mike (from Connecticut) lived 20 only minutes apart and (although they'd met previously) were only passing acquaintances. Luckily everyone got along just fine and Alex and Mike travelled back to the US as firm friends...which is a good job because Sunday's Jake Seeley had added them both to the Garden team.
Season were keen to get a web edit of Jared and Mastroni is dope at edits. Before too long a plan was hatched for Mike to fly to Austin and get it done. At some point in the proceedings Alex and Mike decided they might want to escape the cold and move to Austin for a while. In the end they drove South with Seeley, filmed the edit and all three decided to move to Austin with Adam 22 and some guy I don't know called Grady.
In another strange turn of events Jim Cielencki decided Sunday Bikes should move to Austin and formed a distribution company called Full Factory carrying Sunday (Jake's sponsor) and Proper (Mike and Alex's sponsor) with Taj Mihelich (amongst others) and moved in alongside the guys from OTX design. At the roughly the same time Adam decided to start a new concept in distribution called Them carrying his own OSS brand along with Rich Hirsh's new venture called Stranger. OSS sponsored Jake Seeley, Alex Platt, and Mike Mastroni amongst others.
I really have no idea where I'm going with this but to me it's a pretty amazing co-incidence that Jake has ended up living in a house with Mike, Alex, and Adam in the same town as Jim C and Full Factory at least partly because of a Myspace conversation I had with Danny Hickson's room mate while in Barcelona exactly a year ago. I'm getting old.

Haha it is kinda funny. But I've been friends with Jake for years. I hooked up with Mastroni (n/h) about a year ago to start doing the OSS thing and Alex just got involved because he was always hanging out with Mike and we ended up becoming better friends (even though we've known each other for years). The fact, that you didn't mention, that OSS is going through IMG is definitely a weird coincidence too.
