Better late than never

I'm pretty sure you've seen this but Fly posted up the second part of their Australian. Check it out.

Salisbury?

If any one is looking for Mitch Yeates he's in Salisbury as usual. Mitch is patiently waiting for delivery of his new signature 'Weaver' frame from Simple (see below). Shoji from Jykk already received his.....you'll be able to get yours in couple of weeks. More details here.

Mind the gap!

Unlike the rusty nails in the foreground, this limited edition grey denim Mike Aitken seat is pretty good for sitting on.
This grey complete 32h front Proper wheel is somewhere in between the rusty nails and the Aitken seat for sitting on but rolls better than both of them.

A 9t Proper cog is completely useless for building ramps but quite useful if you fancy a 25t sprocket on your bike.

These Gary Young grips are orange like fire but far less likely to cause blisters.

The 8.25" dillema? TTL or Lumberjack bars.......take your pick. The chrome ones are hen's teeth and nothing to do with Gary Ellis, Shaun Butler or anyone who chops wood (Van Homan). The black ones are something to do with Mike Miller.

It's been one of those days.........all of this stuff is in stock.

Sunday!

The Sunday! UK tour is officially over but Ian was psyched on the spots in London and decided to stay and film for a little longer with Joe. Everything seemed to go really well apart from the constant showers, lack of time, and an incident involving some moody security and a flesh tunnel.

You'll have to wait for the Ride UK article or the Sunday! DVD for more on this one but hopefully Jim and the boys will be back soon!!!

In semi related news, we got in 3 new Sunday! and 2 new Odyssey T-Shirt designs yesterday. These are printed on Amercian Apparel shirts for a fit that is likely to be as attractive to ladies as Aaron Ross' bike. There are also the last few GSport Bunny hop shirts.

Other cool stuff we got; a handful of chrome lumberjack bars, more Gsport bolts, grey Aitken black denim seats, Beringer and Gary Young grips, CFL stems, Slim by four brake pads, 1 1/8 mini race rims, and numerous other treats.

Sunday! in UK (again)

Jim, Aaron, and Ian have been up for 26 hours straight. So far they've eaten some pizza, played some football with the local kids, thrown down some moves on the trampoline, and ridden the ramp a little. Jim took this novel approach to riding in the giant box jump - tomorrow we're off to London to pick up Mike and Joe and see what obstacles we can find.

Sunday! in UK

Aaron Ross, Jim Cielencki, and Ian Schwartz are in the UK later this week for pretty low key tour along with Joe Cox and Mike Taylor. Plans are loose but I guess we'll be hitting a bunch of street spots around the South of England, shooting some photos, and hoping the sun shines.

You what?

Odyssey has a sneak preview of there new Senior 2 pivotal seat up (yup...that's Odyssey and Pivotal in the same sentence). These come either padded or in bare plastic and wont be in the UK for a little while yet....our friends in Cerritos have a few treats lined up for the end of the year.

Fly Bikes Australia on-line premiere

Fly bikes Australian road trip video premieres on their website on 1 September - the trailer (with a killer nose wheelie) is already up.

Just in case you've missed it. Odyssey have a Chase Hawk edit up on their site and it's amazing - some people may even prefer it to his Electronical part. Check it out below. Interpol?

.....Some stuff you want

Yep.......after all the hullaballoo and the usual delays at customs the iPC pedals have finally arrived. Here we have tangerine, lime, strawberry and grape.

I think I rinsed the Griswald jokes last time.......so these grips are super soft, medium thickness, and likely to be the most popular grip out there within a few months.

If you've ever been Barcelona you've probably met Julien, he's the guy that never stops talking and knows all the spots. Anyhow, Julien is in Pagham and wasted no time in getting busy with the new Forumph bars aka Triumph bars with 4 degrees upsweep. Wow! What a shredder.
Eyy ooop these are much anticipated Twombolt cranks in Aaron Ross's flouresent red colourway. Note the new wedge cluster, much thicker spindle post, and poor use of Photoshop. Yeah Jamie!

Yeah I know we posted these up before but I'm really into the bluesplat Trailmix pedal. These come in alloy looseball only and look far better in the flesh.......especially being as the weather in Pagham was gash today.
Hmm this is the Senior II seat which we are now carrying in this kevlar finish as well as previous vinyl model. I'm glad I didn't have to write an essay 'cos it's light and it looks really nice and that's about all I've got to say about that.

New IMG Site

We have a brand spanking new IMG site up right here. There are a few things to be ironed out but we should be rocking shortly. This one is flash so we'll be updating some product photos here for the timebeing until the downloadable product section appears. Check it out. If it doesn't show up right away it'll be your browser updating slowly.

Pedal Week

It's pedal week at IMG. That means you get to buy some cool pedals and we get to sell some. How about that? Here is the long awaited PC's in tangerine and blueberry and Trail Mix pedals in blue splatter.

Oh, if you saw Ben wondering around at Empire of Dirt with a smashed up face and a chicken suit on his head, feel free to abuse him this week....especially if you're Matt from Cycle Connection and don't have a clue what I'm on about.

Brakes in 2008?

This is the new brake from Proper. It comes with a CNCed hanger and all the hardwear including the clear pads (Baradine/Plasmatic style) that we recommend for use with Proper wheels and rims (or any other coloured rim brand). Available now in the UK in black, white, gold, purple, blue, red, and magnatitanium grey. Just in time for Empire of Dirt competitors!

Magnatitanium grey? Yep, with so many people still repping the Magnatitanium hubs from a few years back, we brought back the old favourite for the colour obsessed amongst you....along with gold and green. Brown is now gone!

Quelle heure est-il?

David Lombard sent us this photo of his Simple frame, seat, hub, and stem. Also on board are Odyssey Aiken tyres and fresh 'difficult' brown Proper rims. Next time you see David buy him a drink from us.

They look like Wombolts yeah?

Yeah they do. This is the elusive T-wombolt, basically a perfected Wombolt. We get these in the UK next week in 175mm RHD black only (for the timebeing). We have LHD and coloured Wombolts if you need those. The new arm will fit your existing Wombolts.

Head over to the Odyssey site more details.

Joe Cox's Sunday! Second Wave

Joe Cox and his bro are in SF filming for the Lotek video. We sent Joe a few bits before he left that you can see on this Sunday! website bike check. In other news, Tom Blyth is finally getting close to riding again and we sent him some GSport and Odyssey stuff, so he could dial in a new bike.

There is some cross wires in the new Ride UK, Dan Figg has been added to the Proper team and not Odyssey........sorry for any confusion John!

Russ, please don't eat the truckster.

This is Odyssey's new Griswold grip featuring a Wagon Queen family truckster in Metallic Pea on the flange (that doesn't have "honky lips" sprayed on the side). Here is one of my favourite quotes from the masterpiece that is National Lampoon's Vacation;
Cousin Vicki: I'm going steady, and I French kiss.
Audrey: So, everybody does that.
Cousin Vicki: Yeah, but Daddy says I'm the best at it.
These arrive in the same shipment as the PC pedals and the T-wombolts. They'll be available in the same colours as the iPC pedals later this year.

Choose ya weapon

Odyssey's best selling PC pedals will shortly be in the country in these hot colourways. We've got tangerine, grape, lime, strawberry, blueberry pictured here.....we'll also have graphite (clear black) as well as clear and the original black. We're expecting these on 18 July......all of the pedals pictured above are limited to this delivery....matching grips to follow.

Ilegal

Nuno at Ilegal was rocking a side parting and a small paunch the last time we saw him. Tell tale signs of someone spending too much time behind a desk thinking about BMX parts.....we're expecting some giant spectacles the next time. Anyhow, here are the revised cranks in raw. We've never had a warranty issue with a set of these and now they're slimmed down with a machined plate around the spindle boss and blow holes in the pedal boss. Luke Towey and Alex Platt are on these boys so you know they're strong.

This is the Ilegal frameset. It comes in raw or flat black and 20.7 or 21.0. Check out the seat tube juction (now with integrated clamp). Tidy and fuctional.

Morning vs Night

Sunday! forks are 41Thermal and come with the same lifetime warranty as Odyssey forks. We have the Morning 2 (or 2.1) forks in UK green, mint green, white, orange, light brown, battleship grey and blue......rustproof black to come in a few weeks. So do you want Morning forks or Night forks? Here are the specs;

This is the Morning 2.1.........below is the Night 2.1.

Fly Tierra bars

Dear Colin,

The Thierry bars are now in stock, only they are actually called Tierra bars. I'm really sorry but there is no such thing as Didier Drog-bars, I guess we just like to keep ourselves amused by acting like we are still at school sometimes.

2009 Proper forks.....yeah!

These are the new forks from Proper. Although these are in the final stages of testing still, I don't expect to see any changes between these and the final version (except the graphics).

Features;

- Tiny CNCed 5mm thick drop outs with just enough room to fit and support a peg.
- Threaded steerer tube with CNCed Proper top cap.
- Big blow holes in the fork legs (nearly as wide as the tube).
- Tapered legs with cutaway for peg clearance.
- Heat treated 4130 chromoly tubing.
- Integrated headset washer.

These beauties weigh just 855g without the top cap. Click the photo to see how much with.

These are the dropouts - big enough to support and accomodate pegs on the outside and big enough to support your cone nuts on the inside. Perfect.

Please note the Proper website will down for the next 24 hours while we change provider.
